WASHINGTON –Marie C. Johns, a longtime advocate for small businesses, was confirmed by unanimous consent by the U.S. Senate today as Deputy Administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration.

The Small Business Administration announced it will raise the size limit for its 7(a) loans so more than 70,000 additional companies can qualify.

With the confirmation of Karen Mills as Administrator for the Small Business Administration, the agency announces senior appointments.
